Installation Instructions

 

Installation

With the right equipment and personnel, you can quickly get through assembling your tank. For a successful GRP Tank Installation,you need at least five workers, one of whom should be qualified.

Here is a brief installation guide:

1.After getting a permit to install on a particular site, ensure you have all the required equipment.
2.They should be free of damage to prevent a substandard finish.
3.Check that the area of installation is level.
4.Assemble the beams horizontally on the foundation or steel tower to form the skid base.
5.Install the bottom panel carefully on the skid base.
6.Install the side panels. Once the side panels are in place, you can put up the panel partitions.
7.The panels should be joined using bolts and nuts, as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
8.Install the tie rods and stainless steel partitions to support the roof.
9.Assemble the top cover/roof.
10.Install internal and external stainless steel ladders.
11.Tie all stainless steel nuts and bolts with a washer.

After completing the installation and getting approval from a consultant, carry out a water leak test. Connect a temporary water supply pipe and let the water stay in for at least 24 hours. Make sure you have enough air vents. If there are any leakages after the test period, rectify and seek approval.

Maintenance Guide for Water Tank

  1) Operation

   a. Clean the tank regularly according to the water regulation.

(PS: Twice a year for cleaning, once a month for sanitation check)

   b.Operate water in/out value slowly to prevent the impact on water tank by hammering effect when fill/drain water.

   c.The tank room should be strictly off limits to anyone who is not an operator.

  2) Sanitary Check

1	Environment	Keep the tank's surrounding clean from garbage and dirt.
		Keep the tank-room always dry.
2	Tank	Check if there's any water leaks on tank.
		Fix inlet and outlet firmly, and be careful about damage.
3	Above tank	Check if there's any facilities or machines which may contaminate the water of tank.
		Check if there's any puddles or insanitary substances on tank top.
4	Tank inside	Check is there's any sediment or rust on tank's floor.
		Check if there's any harmful substances in/on the water.
5	Manhole	Check if the manhole cover securely locked and can be open by the operator only.
6	Others	Check if there's any damages or malfunctions on vent pipes, insect nets, etc.
